About Us

Kibar Energy Inc. was established as a subsidiary of Kibar Holding on 15/11/2011, with the aim to carry out import and wholesale of natural gas in the Turkish Energy Market. Within the context of the Batı Hattı contract take-over by the private sector, Kibar Energy has taken over the contract for purchasing 1 billion m3 of natural gas per year and obtained license to import and wholesale Natural Gas, as of 1 January 2013. Kibar Energy aims to be one of the leading players in the Turkish Energy Market which has been liberalized with the increasing participation of the private sector.

Our main goals are: to contribute the efforts to meet supports natural gas demand by purchasing natural gas within Turkey or from abroad; to play a role in establishing a natural gas market, in alignment with domestic interests; to conduct necessary activities for natural gas storage; to pursue opportunities for ensuring demand security and resource diversity in the Turkish Energy Market; and to take the necessary actions to invest in new business and investment opportunities.
